                NJUPT Students Clinches Special Prize in Intercultural Competence Competition

                 Our Students from NJUPT won the Special Prize of the Third Yangtze River Delta Regional College Students’ Intercultural Competence Competition. Recently, the third session of “Foreign Language Education Cup” contest of college students’ ability of cross-cultural and Yangtze river delta area (national invitational competition—Jiangsu Province) released the results. Li Qing, from the School of Foreign Languages at NJUPT, and international students from the College of Overseas Education, IMANE FARAH (Morocco), and Liu Qingyuan from the  College of Electronic and Optical Engineering won the special award for undergraduate group.

                The Intercultural Contest aims to promote the state and society to have the international vision and cross-cultural ability in meeting foreign language talents demand, while raising the different nationality students’ cross-cultural awareness and communication ability, cultivating students from the perspective of cultural differences in the ability to analyze and solve problems, and promoting the sense of  “neighborhood” in intercultural practices and leaning.
